Atlanta comedian and comedy club owner Marshall Chiles takes an hour break from work to talk with Maximüs Groves and guest host Matthew Queen in the Comcastro podcast studio about the annual Laughing Skull Comedy Festival. Marshall gives us the full story on how to succeed at stand-up comedy, praises the growth of the Atlanta comedy scene, teases his recent film American Dirtbags that just entered into post-production, and travels with us through some peculiar conversational rabbit holes from dick pics to extreme sports and oversensitive Hindus.
Oh my God. Finally there’s one thing in music midtown born and always assumed it was a lot like about that if you actually enjoy going to one which clearly is not your thing I don’t think I mean I’ve never been to a good one. Oh yeah I went camping in the UK in Copenhagen just to watch Death Metal rocks go we’re all so that was one of her that would not be that all should not be for now I don’t know if I get it I guess Ben Folds holding a music festival in Australia or New Zealand like that I can provide mine clearing Internet security even Eva come cashola Viva La Tourette out of the sea on this is Maximus grow son Matthew I mean this is very fun we are here introducing martial she they know. CHILD Oh man I met these guys make. Yes You know it isn’t just for me. No no I see Walter White Marshall’s old to let us go to a comedy club and he is putting on with several other clubs in the area which will be making to the thinkers like in my head here. Laughing school comedy you know the most important thing I mean laugh until comedy first is great and you want to go to that and there’s a movie labyrinths gone movie coming out this is like you know in L.A. everyone is a screenplay because no one will because no one buys pre-screened here you have to do no one buys the screenplay here if you have it no one gives a shit they just make them fucking around scratch or doing it and you know how there is a marked man that about sound check. Guys were honest up on stage of the check one two made bad decisions in life. Check check went to my parents or grandparents. Jack why do I need a place to crash. Check once who I thought being a rodeo get me laid but clearly not. More like CONFUSED ON SNAPCHAT I was asking for a shitload of money from Facebook. Right and like I was like guys they have blackmail on an entire generation of teenagers about to be adults. This is worth more than ten million dollars is a good point for the one that pays out right like I don’t know are the few presidents among them or whatever. He’s straight to the black box that was they did what they had to write all that evidence on Facebook employees that the table going oh yeah well what about this Dick Pick you know if you’re going to start your own social networking site. Yeah snapchat was a bad idea. Me and I go do a screen shot it. Oh no they know what you do but fuck it I already got it. Now for Q What are you going to do deal with it. Right you made it seem it seems to me that like you’re you’re never going to get that sort of thing but they’re just unruly aren’t one day it can take over cat’s scared to give me the next thing is going to dick pics all over the place. I do have like a theory that like imagine if everyone’s dick pics were everywhere right. Writing like if just some way like it was all public and everyone just knew there was an archive to find someone’s like nude somewhere does because the shame disappear and that’s a good point but then again I mean are you guys your face with a dick pic. That’s not very much of a good dick pick. All right this is Full Frontal noodle at that point I don’t think there should be any shame with that with your dead. I mean if you’ve ever showered in like a Jim Your dick is out there’s nothing you can do about it. Everyone as dicks at least males I mean but you’ve seen more dicks then like any other human before the age of the Internet. Lying like the three of us collectively have seen more dick than the entire middle ages all together and I mean just read about the amount of porn that you’ve seen. Except for lesbian porn there’s a dick in there. Well I never thought about the fact that I’ve looked at more dick than all of like the eighteenth century the whole Eastern European and everybody everybody litter outside of their own. Dick I’ve probably seen more dick than everybody that lived in the eight hundred a little more dick than men who died in a civil war. Probably I might have had more brothels though. Like legit like crazy orgy opportunities maybe we’ve actually matched exactly what it used to be and I was like total depravity has been kind of cold in a Christian setting right now like just keeping it secret instead. If you were just always equilibrium of Dick if I was behind a paywall. I don’t know if it’s that funny but the way this is started I assume you know we get so that’s going to feel pretty funny then. Well feel free to introduce yourself what you know my name is Marshall trials. My own the laughing skull comedy lounge over at the vortex in midtown A.T.L. and I have a comedy festival to starting next week that’s our sixth annual called a laparoscope Comedy Festival and we had about four and a comedian submit speed picked the top seventy two and so we’re bringing in seventy two of North America’s top up and coming comedians and wearing five venues around town improv comedy club Hard Rock Cafe Eddie’s attic Smith’s old bar in Lapham’s gone lounge. And then we’re sponsored by laparoscope beer by red brick breweries which is a great beer although it’s even says that’s laughing skull beer I don’t have a school lounge a laugh spoke on it as I was called here is not my favorite beer but their sister beer is OK which is Hot lanta And I think I should have got an embryo guy but the owner of the vortexes Tiger beers laparoscope beer and that’s like not any kind of bullshit you could drink when everyone is present now. So yeah and then the other sponsor is number one tequila by ROD WHITE that has his own tequila. Remember how notion Sammy Hagar went got his own tequila recently and like Slash was a rum. Yeah shit like that and that’s wrong what up to these days to kill him apparently. To kill a business number one is doing well it is really tasty and then he’s just super funny. I mean that guy he comes to laugh it’s going to work out all the time and he has so many fuck you jokes which fuck you jokes in the comedy world is when a comedian tells another comedian fuck you I wish I’d thought of that because it’s so simple and funny and I can’t think can’t think of anyone that’s but he’s done things like that. He talked about it for those Yeah we’re all standing around it’s right on the ground but I’m the one who picks it up it is obvious things but one of his favorite jokes is he did recently that I like that. Anyways it’s called he says you know the difference between rich kids and poor kids is how they say do you know who my daddy is. Go on. We’re just funny just that line by itself that you know like you would get is that the poor kids you know I go to my daddy first love because you’re afraid to put the pieces together in your head. You’re like am I being racist by thinking this to its logical conclusion. Well I did bring race into it but you know course not exactly that’s an answer is yes you have. So they are clearly because that’s how my brain operates. So here’s some funny is speaking of that in what ways racism isn’t funny. We got an e-mail I got a phone call today from the Hard Rock Cafe dude and so our logo this year for the festival every year we do a different deity or something like that just put the Scole logo over its head and this year we used a Hindu God whatever that God is with the eight arms but as a vision visionary who has several and it was the Shiva Yeah that guy and I stole down from Williams I can’t I can’t steal jokes on this on people are going to rip on it for that I don’t really notice. An elephant will how much arms there could be like twenty gods in Hinduism that there are true you know yeah yeah I mean like one time like I had a so-so teacher she was like a Hindu Islam is a monotheistic religion but they don’t realize it I was like that sounds wrong even in eighth grade I was like they don’t realize that they’re monotheist. And then like I met a Hindu like the next year in high school I was like yeah I heard something from a source a seizure and shoo in here. God grabbed me like I’m going to God for beer we have a god for like dog collars we have a god for like clouds in the sky. Yeah and it’s a polytheistic religion. Mondays. Yeah so we have this deity that has a skull face on and we have down there at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Atlanta just tons of foot traffic right is right there by all the conventions of boba. Well and businesses and and so they’ve had these big posters out on the sidewalk promoting the festival and some Hindu guy some Indian guy took offense to our logo. Then on top of that insane or insensitive analysis so then some dude took a picture of it put it on Twitter and then some indian do that has eleven thousand fuckin Twitter followers. Re tweeted it and. Tag the Hard Rock and so then the Hard Rock corporate comes out because we gotta change as long as we don’t want to we don’t this flack and I’m like well first of all how do you know it’s even the Indian dude with arms are you guys you guys old all multiple arms is not like you know no logo No that’s your whole brand and and then I was taken you know because at one point just to kind of make it funny we were going to hide a dick in the drawing and I didn’t like these shirts made I get my my kids where I knew my wife before can get me to take on a shirt. If your boys are in high school in middle school they enjoy that they totally love it and they love it right now there are six and nine. But Badger So my first thought was I pointed I would drop dead. We all have everything to hand there own so I would be less than P.C. with hardly a corporate. I just sit there and say come on do the Hindu lobby carry that much of a paunch like that like what like ten billion. Not like a billion people in charge I don’t need ten of them have money in the restaurant and call centers you know I have one of our favorite political jokes that answers a lot of users as great a great political joke. Street joke is not mine where an Indian government agent comes to America or a politician comes to America and it was busying another politician is in his house and it’s a nice house big house and he’s like well I don’t know. Politics must pay pretty well and in America goes well I’ll be honest with you did you see that building over there. Ten percent. See that bridge over there. Ten percent as he’s pointing out himself saying oh you know I’m getting on the scale and he’s like oh OK good for you and then the U.S. politician goes over business the Indian politician in India and Indian politician has a house ten times the size of the US politician he’s like wow this place is amazing how do you how do you make so much money in Indian politics. And it points out there he goes you see that building a bridge over there and a guy goes no and then you know except when I was out because one hundred percent. But that is what it is like over there is very crowded. It’s super corrupt Slumdog Millionaire so many feels like it’s closer to the truth or yeah I don’t think that is. Never saw that movie a kind of kick myself every time somebody runs for him. I know it’s worth tons of movies out there worth it it was the worst feel good movie I’ve ever seen. Like I walked out of there like like with like such an odd feeling because like all time this kid is literally getting shit on by a wife and then at the end it all works out very well but like you have to put up like eighty nine minutes in a ninety minute movie of the B.M.I.. Real real down in the dumps but hey that last minute great payoff. Yeah so I assume he wins he wins a lottery or some like that right there in his shit life turns into great because he won his money it was about the lottery ticket they had to want to be a LEO Yeah they’re doing that thing and they essentially he had learned something every step of his way from poverty up and that one little bit of trivia he held onto was exactly the question so and so they’re like telling him like how you cheating how do you know all these answers and he’s telling his life story as they torture him. Why I know all the answers these questions that you accidentally put me perfectly in place to take all the money great and so on and the whole thing is trying to reconnect to the last lover and she sees him win money on T.V. shows get tortured. Yeah because apparently impoverished people are not supposed to get a trivia who’s torturing them since the producers of the show are torturing him because apparently they roll deep in India. I’m going I’m going to torture my how do you know this stuff how do you know that they get many years of because they want one hundred percent of the show’s right money right. That’s already been budgeted in the US are going to show up in the next five minutes. Hard to walk concrete shoes you know if you know one thing I found like unbelievable that was like they were torturing in the same way Jack Ryan was torturing like German terrorists in The Sum of All Fears like where’s the bomb how did you. No Jack Bauer tires on them. Yeah so this is you would go through Were you part of the BOR that shows out of the four hundred submissions for the comedy festival and why they want to chose who watched all four of those I have a key group of people I change out almost every year to get feedback and we have five ways we judge them on a scale of one to ten you know material originality delivery stage presence and overall judgment and so we just grade it. It’s great it like that. And this first year so this is the first year I gave everybody back their score you know thanking us for their various pay thirty five dollars to submit and I’m like Look man if they’re given thirty five bucks I want to just give them something better than a no on stand up comedy writer right. So I mean like I give them the last year’s panel discussions. That’s valuable because it’s got some great information in there that’s worth thirty five dollars right there and I also said you know I’m to give you some feedback but you know what you wear or our submission Committee sees you on these things and I don’t know how that’s going to work out I mean I’ve got some people said Rob just never going to meet again because obviously I’m too far off. And and I’m kind of like well you know what. Fucking You can’t improve what you don’t measure. So if you’ve got an if your average was a four point five and material then why don’t you fuckin work on that you know I mean obviously your material is weak and we saw four hundred videos were telling you what your material is like against the other three hundred ninety nine comedians at your level. Do you want that fuckin feedback. I mean if you’re if you’re really going for this and you’re being smart about it then yeah you should tell him five out of ten there is no right right. I am an honest man. If you ruin someone’s dreams. One review. Fuck that guy I mean really good he was NOT have what it takes to be a comedian because yeah I’m going to kiss your Bible but stand up comedy has always struck me as the most vicious of all the arts because you have again I don’t want to say the same thing with no respect. Well no especially if you have one reaction that you can get out of the audience. One you know if you show a drama and I feel good or bad or unmoved I can bullshit my way into saying well that’s a meaningful artistic experience because not with comedy if they’re not laughing you’re failing. So that’s a that’s a very very vicious like you like it’s very demanding on you the artist pretty much. Yeah exactly so there are. Rule out there that says if you’re not going to be funny you can be interesting so if you’re in the middle of a great story and it’s dead silent that’s just like good laughters because that means they’re paying attention you’re entertaining them and that’s the thing too is like you know column is about building tension and setting a release building tension assentingly sometimes at one liners or but boom boom boom boom boom you know you’ve got these other people that can tell stories and you just get in the story that all of a sudden a theory and they say something and all that tension as a huge relief you know from laughter so but you’re right it’s like if you’re you’re you are by yourself onstage with a microphone and a bad childhood still in your life playing together saying let’s explore. Seeing them in for a stream because you’re that desperate to satisfy some weird thing inside yourself and it’s great I mean you’re going on I mean you know when you are doing been able to do stand up comedy well is a very rewarding. I mean I know I’m nowhere near like the guys that come through after school algebra and because I mean those guys sacrifice and do it and and I made the decision years ago so I started off as a road comic and as a comedian comic and doing stuff and then I decided fuck this like even right now I have friends of mine that I know how much work they took or what how much work they did how much they were away from their families and on the road and now they’re in L.A. and they’re doing very well and have a T.V. show and shit like that nice even if I knew I could get there at the end I don’t think I’d still do it. I love comedy. I love performing and I love comedians I loved the whole world of it all but I’m not I’m not willing to do. I’m not willing to sacrifice what it takes or sacrifice to be a great comedian you know I mean I can see it and I know what it is but but be able to get on stage myself and make people laugh. That’s always rewarding come with an idea or you hasn’t happened your life and you get on stage and you shared make it funny and people laugh and you you know knowing that skill sets great to write for other people now and you know and it’s it’s always great to write jokes for people. And then see it work. It’s very rewarding and it you know and every time I have told that to happen the person next to me thought yeah you know but I still do it everyone throughout the state is you take the opportunity sometimes to just get back you know to the public but I mean you run the show now right. So you take the opportunity to work out your own material a little bit. Oh yeah yeah get on stage still I mean I’ve got on stage a lot lately because I’ve been so busy but typically I’ll get on stage two or three shows a week. So you know I just got to get up there and do five or ten minutes I mean sometimes I’ve been known to knock out twenty when I was posted five but you know who’s going to stop me and I feel bad about it but it just. And I try to respect all of the other comedians that are on there so there’s twenty times where it’s like you know there’s a spec show and someone’s going to have to do less time or whatever and I’m like No I’m not going to take because these other guys as Atlanta’s got an amazing comedy scene now and it’s there’s a lot of guys here who are really working at it and for me to take away their stage time because I decided I wanted to talk and talk about my kids for five minutes longer is I think that’s very selfish and rude. Times go well have you seen like the evolutionary growth of coming out well. Well it really does all have to do is laughing skull lounge that opened six years ago. Truly I must take all credit for this one. You’re welcome Atlanta we’ve brought this amazing thing to do. Well both my efforts and then there’s another guy named Gilbert lawn who was doing a lot of set up a lot of rooms around town and really work in it and then there’s and he actually ended up working on the punch line I got him a job at the end problem they opened up and he was you know because they were looking for somebody that really knew the scene to help them open up while they opened up the improbable and up and I heard they were good guys and their struggle little bit over there because their franchise that they bought it with they didn’t get a business plan it was just like are yours or here’s a logo. Here you go. So and then helping booking a little bit and stuff like that but they don’t know what they’re doing really in the comedy world a very smart businessman they do well with everything else to do and so I sat down with them and they gave like a I said I think it’s been like two three hours with him and gave him like a twelve year brain dump and saying this is how you do it this what you want to do and they took my advice and a lot of things and were good friends and you know I do my comedy festival now is over there and I do some other stuff over there and sometimes call me up and ask me you know what about this person who issues look so so yeah it’s good and I don’t know why I got to this for gun lovers it was just the growth of go to guy so then Gilbert got that job so let me get to that hey get what law is great. Put him in place over there and he helped run it and then there’s another guy named Rodney Yeah the star of our show Star Bar the starboard Monday night show as well as the Claremont karaoke night. Yeah there is a student I don’t at least all those years ago I don’t think he’s doing more but then he is not afraid to get older and I get afraid not to be vulgar. People see the sensitive side of me that would be the real for me I need to go out of your box for a second. We need five minutes without the word fuck right. Yeah that is great I mean so that Monday night Star Bar is probably the best comedy show in the city and then as an open mike Welling not really as an e-book So it is hard to get on I don’t like five years ago trying to get on in like the second like he opened up submission he got well everyone called early so fuck you. Nice and I was the voice mail it was the end. It’s five o’clock Friday you got to call five o’clock at front it Friday if you call it four fifty eight in your book a band so by five o three he’s got his people. OK And so it gives dragon anybodies whatever form that he’s doing over there is working and then now he’s trying to expand out of doing so he started a comedy record label over there and he’s trying to do some other stuff. Right he’s a smart dude and he’s a hard worker you know he’s how he’s raised a kid he’s got it he’s actually got to get this right you know I’ve run into each other at skateboard competitions on a regular basis but I just seen Rodney and more this issue adders this gets read me this escape but his kids are really really good skater. Yeah. Does well and so he’s friends with all those tubes and you know part of that we have some friends in that world as well I think that’s an exciting place to be and all athletics skating it really came of age with like Tony Hawk I mean before then there was really really outside the mainstream and then Tony Hawk is the first one to do a couple of different moves and he was incredible. But then you see what Shaun White is building on top of that really Shaun white kind of fading out at this point. But Shaun White just brought another degree of athleticism on top of that and so it’s really entered into you know unlike some other folk forms like everything the Olympics which is kind of you know tapped out right. You know skating is still innovating which I think that’s very exciting you know the school the skate is extreme sports the extreme sports or whatever saving X. Games I mean it’s got to get skateboarding and snowboarding with the sunlight again and then the B.M.X. ors and the motocross guys you know it is mind blowing but you said some of them just mind blowing to Travis Pastrana. This is this is the element of snow of extreme sports like everybody’s competing against each other but they want everybody to do great. Like when Tony Hawk did his nine hundred Do you know what I’m talking about oh yeah I think it was a big deal he was already past his time like you have X. amount of time to do your set get Iran and get out but he kept going for it and he has passed his time and everybody said if he pulls it off he wins you know if there’s not it’s not to tell you how I know he’s at a time you know if I thought that if he pulls it off he wins that’s what ever he wanted him to pull it off they don’t care about winning they want to do nine hundred you know and so that’s a victory for us as a travesty restaurant where he was with one of the first ones to really you know make a lot of money in that sport. What he did was he bought a motocross training camp with a big foam pit and a crane that could pick your bike out of the foam pit shit like that. I’ll call our buddy Macon actually did that. Oh yeah yeah when he was up in D.C. He he was out with a rugby team that was friends like something out in the D.C. rugby community knew Travis was strong and our buddy knows how to ride my motorcycles pretty well so he got on there and he did it and he did the flip and it fell into the foam pad he says the good times I was personify Yeah amazing yeah. So he opened it up. Travis persona opened it up to all the other motocross guys. He didn’t keep it for himself so that he could get better. He invited all those guys all those guys he competes against and said Hey man let’s take this shit up. Well what do you think it takes to build a community like that. It takes somebody like that shares and encourages you know write a great book called The talent code and it was basically studied the Renaissance period in other areas of time. Areas of the world and certain times were a lot of great ness was created in the arts or whatever and they studied it and it takes there’s you there’s always somebody there that’s kind of like pushing it and working behind the scenes and like making it encouraging others and just kind of like a guru of sorts. And then so yeah that’s that’s kind of that’s that’s what a scene needs and so that’s what I’ve tried to do with lab school and I say that about left school as I go I do deserve the credit now I deserve a lot of the credit but not all of it but but we have I opened a place I’ve called all the comedians in town I said hey I had a meeting over there and I say hey look I might own this playground that is our playground and you know because it’s eighty seats I can afford to fly in a feature and put up a hotel from New York or L.A. like I used to do at the funny farm. Figured out of money just do a bunch of local acts doing five six seven minutes each to fill up that features thirty minutes bought it and so they’re now they’re doing weekend shows and then they got better because they got more repetition I get more stage time and then the shows got better. When the audiences liked him more and now so now our best of Atlanta is our most part some of our most popular shows are consistently sell out there basically the top ten or twelve comedians and only that you’ll see every six seven minutes each and you know it’s great we used to do those. When the headliner would have to cancel and we would just do that last minute but now it’s like the premiere. Exactly yeah. And their breakup gone what are you doing this again what are you doing this and these are great shows I want to see because if it’s still a ninety minute show but they saw twelve comedians so they think they got more for their money and you know it’s all about creating value and so says I go along with us are doing this on the first of every month and so then they fuckin sell out so now what I do the first week of every month is best of Atlanta and then it’s typically like the third Saturday of the month at a five P.M. show. OK And we get out of A.B.C. to get like fifty or sixty tickets sold on a Saturday five o’clock just because it’s another best of Atlanta show. That’s that much and that’s cost for a DUI and you’re just you’re just throwing out another shell I mean the rents are too painful. Yeah I got to pay a little bit of management labor and a little bit of talent labor room door person but that’s it. So yeah that’s what it is and so then that’s what the festival the laparoscope Comedy Festival is is basically a best of America up and comers and you know and is there a cap you’re too successful you can apply. They kind of kept themselves in that thirty five dollars they like I don’t think Brian Regan would be going to. I’m one hundred stop submitting to festivals but do you get to that point you gotta do what you gotta do you know and so that’s why I thought the feedback was valuable is like fuck if you’re really serious about this and you’re right. If that stops you then you should have been fucking in this game you know I mean you know you strike me the way that you speak sounds masterful almost pedagogical. I assume you spent a lot of time teaching people stuff. What would you say is that like the biggest stumbling block. See with people who are just getting into comedy second guessing themselves you know I’m a big believer and just get it on the paper and read it later. So many people edit what’s coming out. Don’t edit what’s coming out. Just get it out to you. Because what happens is when you stop the problem with what art is is actually expressing yourself right. So if you’re not if you’re second guessing what you’re thinking about expressing then you’re not truly expressing. So you got to be in the moment you got to come from a real place. You know you got to dig deep down you’ve got to expose yourself you can express yourself and if you’re if you’re not just doing that freely then you’re not growing part of like you know when writing jokes you got to get through what’s called to go to jokes are it was a subject them OK here’s the dick joke on that. Here’s a necessary piller stupid joke on that now let’s go deeper you know but you can’t get to that until you’ve opened up so so extreme a conscious writing is fantastic Safina conscious writing. It just opens up chambers and so it’s kind of like your first three jokes. First three expressions are not going to shit but it’s moved the ball. It’s got that Moscow has got the momentum going it just expressing yourself and then expression number seven is gold but expression one through six and eight through fifteen are shit this is like overcoming that like. You said the first editor you know yes the fear. Yeah I mean if it just let it out and then once it’s on the paper you add it later. You know like you know to write a book you edit a book you know you rewrite a book I’m sure George Martin can tell us about them. Yeah motherfucker. So how do you make a joke. I mean just like sit around and go why the chicken crossed the road. Juxtaposition misdirection. You think about what would be a funny thing to say and what are you expecting someone to say now say the opposite and make sense of it. Learning how to think funny is just a muscle you know and just like anything else. If you practice the more you practice it the better you can be at it. That’s why you know to be a really great comedian you got to be on the road you have to go in terms of stages in terms of different states and probably just really you’ve got to build that muscle you know you want to be in the major leagues of baseball you think those guys just played a few games every once for all grown up you know they played every fucking day for years in order to get there that’s what it takes to be selling out the Fox Now when you were younger where you like the class clown. Yeah my ultimate goal in high school was to when class clown that was my goal and plan ahead like I think was like eighty percent of the nail that exact area and that’s that’s we think that’s pretty solid and you know I’m not sure if F.D.R. had those kind of I think the other guy got a twenty percent as people felt bad because I used to beat him up but I have to file and only actually that does work well together. Well yeah exactly right. Everyone was marveled at the comedic genius of why is he hitting him. Tell us more. It’s funny that I did sometimes get out of getting my ass beat because of comedy or make them laugh. That is that is the best way to defuse a bad situation you know just cut it you know get out of the way so as he starts laughing you can run but it does not mix well with sex like Have you ever like known as bad sex and comedy just like man just keep them in separate rooms in a room in a mood is not exactly comedy groupies. No yeah there are there are some comedy groupies are not attractive. There’s someone one person gets to get offended by that and that’s probably not attractive. Comedy three OR SOMEONE FUCKING would be if you were offended by that you are defacto really really would be so lucky to have an audience of unattractive comedy groupies with a B. level of the show the whole time and then suddenly no one listens to this we’re going to get there. We’re going to get here and they could have. We’re going to we have we have a devoted fan base loyal and strong they are only promotion so far just been read it let’s see how it goes now banned. Yeah yeah so now it’s your band What does that mean can not I mean you can post when I was going to see shit so rehab is not a bad thing for you to get banned from Reddit. It’s sort of you know it’s kind of ironic because there’s this joke where everyone stealing everybody else’s stuff to put it on right. Right a moment you create something yourself and say hey I want to share this with you I made it for you they say you motherfucker stop self promoting your fuckin blog spam Bay We don’t want to see it and it’s like I want to be putting on there was this progress as it here’s my pocket Yeah cause that’s what right it’s about as like as not that’s not look what I made a joke about somebody else made. Yeah exactly so then what you do is you get somebody else to make fake profile. Yeah I was going to do that now. So when we are building the Twitter army which is a social mechanism I don’t even know I just got into Twitter to manage money got my Twitter account back because it got hijacked to do that set it up for me was an ex employee won’t give me the password it took me years to finally get it back from Twitter which was a few weeks ago and I’m all up and Twitter’s bitch shit man because that stuff is good and it is amazing how that works I mean I got I had an interview at an article come out today in Atlanta Business Chronicle because of Twitter because we started tweeting. We tweeted the guy that writes for it we started tweeting a lot of reasons crowded island liking their things and me posting their shit that is the end result of it being able to have access to like public figures and we enjoy none of that so we have someone else do it for us. Right well you got to get in there is basically being part of the conversation. Yeah you know I’m just being part of conversation like it’s you know every post things that are comedy based or you know whatever and you know and it’s interesting it’s been so yeah it’s a are you a fan of the show Metalocalypse. No I haven’t really seen it and for a long time he said to me even if it’s my for years that never has a good release schedule because of their metal tour but I don’t want for it. And Comedy Central goofed up they put out a promo for season five but it doesn’t exist like that. Make a season five. As Abram Smalls tweeting Yeah I don’t know what that’s about. It’s not common. Sorry guys and this guy text me in the morning is like there’s a line from the show. Where was one of their birthdays and they give him the most brutal amazing gift of our military and so Brendon Small’s gift to all the fans for their long loitering finally to get the most metal season ever is nothing at all so we thought he’d be into that we tweeted it to him this morning that no one listen. Oh well we’ll find a way. Will break through. Yeah you gotta just keep going to kind of get areas fee or some bullshit like yeah yeah that’s another thing to our notices on Twitter is a pre post shit on a regular basis I don’t accept it because it just get buried in people’s timelines and I just opened it up once and be like well that’s it. Well you’re looking at it more it almost feels like Geico commercials just like one after another. Yeah it’s like a one liner that just spat out. Yeah and if you can be funny it’s even better. Yeah but I’m like interim and I think it well I think it works. I mean what you mean from what you just said it sounds like we ought to just like identify targets and kill like tweet at them reposed their stuff and hopefully start a conversation those relationships is exactly right and you know it’s just like anything else can’t be like all right every tweet or should I can you post this thing and be like just to have a conversation with them and when they see your shit. Dover post has been working like I want to we would have taken it applies to a guest we’ve had and it is I mean I know we have video gamers like go there but this is a hash tag laughing Skoal festival catcha school fest for school fest. Well here’s a question about that. Is it like one round elimination of the twenty seven comics. Basically So then they each there are six shows or told each that seventy two to Windsor to Thursday to Friday all at Lafon school lounge we take the top two of those and they go to so that sed another twelve and they go to Saturday at eight pm at the Improv and then after that. Yet you take the top six and they go this Saturday ten thirty at the improv so they’ll form a second time that night on the exact same stage at The Improv Comedy Club. OK you guys is only filming for this. Oh I think we have I think we have a film crew coming up and I’m going to follow up on that that was going to do something but I haven’t heard from. But now we have we are not really filming much of it now so we are going to record it from the sound booth at the lapis go around but I’m sure you could have a great montage of failure videos from all the rejections. Yeah I’m not going to really do you know twist the knife there but you know at the same time if let’s say it is a big becomes a big promotion and one of the moment in some sense it’s like so clearly so you can see the exact moment as heartbreaks and half my favorite part was when someone took that and put in footage of Richard Sherman watching it being intercepted at the end of Super Bowl you know I mean you can see exactly the moment where is hard splits and let’s be friends. The two to choose I don’t think it’s just my imagination but I feel like the eighty’s where this huge bubble of stand up comedy and it kind of went away some time during the ninety’s I mean have you noticed that or is it just my disgust of that there’s been tons of books on it and what have you there’s a bit so what happens when you discover stand up comedy. It blew up and people loved it in that one point and Boston I saw this documentary there’s a guy standing in a corner and he starts pointing around just right there he goes right there was a club all at the same time. He points like seven spaces that were doing comedy full time or part time basis All right. Within that block like that so it got so popular nobody loved it but the problem was any comedian quote unquote comedian that said Yeah I’ve got an hour. All right you’re on next. My next weekend. Just like that because they don’t have enough comedians for the demands of the nobody goes out there and sees comedy like this guy thought well I’m not going to go wash my lasso seen on T.V. you know and then that becomes a part of what T.V. shows has been on you know and so that becomes the culture subconscious or even conscious and then so that’s always been my thing man is like good competition is good for industry. You know about the hamburger theory on corners and stuff like that hamburgers doing business if you take an intersection you put up a McDonald’s and then carry that you put up a Burger King and they get a few of that report of a Wendy’s and crystals that intersection starts to sell more burgers more burgers more burgers because everybody knows that’s the intersection you go to for burgers. So as long as nobody does a good job and I know you can go get a good burger there of that caliber then that’s where you go because we re supportive of each other. Yeah and it’s right all the rising tide lifts all boats and so in comedy so that’s where I’m always like a man as long as you’re putting on great comedy shows us what matters as soon as you start putting up shit shows and years you know Durance have ever given away tickets you no idea how many people fucking think that I should give them free tickets I live off the door. I keep my family off of the mission and your fork and you’re my dental hygiene are sort of met wants you want to talk and free tickets I mean been there in six months you know and it’s like that kind of pissed me off I was like that’s how does graded. That is that comedy is comedy such a disrespected art form. One of my guiding principle in this thing has been and it’s products explains where I come from everything is whatever’s best for comedy. My goal is to get comedy as a respected art form and that it is that it deserves because it’s so undervalued and so underappreciated stand up comedians are under appreciated you know we haven’t talked about this that and the pro of post production for a film he made that his go studios is finishing up her first full length feature film and I use cameos from the Latin School lounge like you know Emo Philips Jim Florentine Donnell Rawlings which side mirror. Laurie Kilmartin Jen Kirkman Chris Frangela. I’ve seen a lot of he’s funny he’s hilarious and he’s killer in the movie so and so in the thing and Jake Johannsen and like Jay trance and I would talk about it. Jen Kirkman and Chris’ friend Joel are neighbors and they’re telling me that they’ve talked about it a lot like how genius is it that a comedy club is using these cameos and already said yes. I only had a couple I only had one person say no and and I just want to reply back going. Can you show me the scripts that you’re saying yes to oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. Because how many fuckin scripts are you getting sent to you you know and that’s the thing and and I get that maybe they felt like this might be unprofessional to be part of that and I get the you know perfect for protecting your brand but that’s the thing is like so many careers Jake and Joe Johns and I were talking about it is that these comedians get a T.V. show based on them right and then they don’t get the fucking right it is written by five dude in another room they’ve never met and it’s like wait a minute you hired me because I’m funny and I’m the funny guy brand but you’re not going to write my own show and so those shows that really work and that’s what happened a lot and showed that I was never that. Yeah and I hate to just say Sinbad but I love the Sinbad stand up and his show was a bomb. He’s not the only one right when it comes to mind was like a spectacular bomb has a terrible show but said that if you listen and I think you’re funny. Money was the plot of an episode of Louie. Right now he’s trying to do this thing and they just have this sick comedy hates when I don’t actually Louie Louie He’s very vocal about how we fix that problem. He said you hand me a quarter million and then you shut the hell up and Louie is now in charge of a show he just I did you tell me that or is that from the Mark Mark Lampung only he was explaining how basically he took what significant pay cut for the operation of the show for total control. Yes unlike that he took less money. Yeah in order to have more control. Yeah and you know because he wrote it directed it. I did it you know and that’s that’s the level in order to get to a louis level you have to have that kind of mindset of like I can be a perfectionist and doing it all like you know when I start to laugh in school lounge I was doing the website I was making my own radio commercials I was making my own T.V. commercials I was doing my own print ads I was doing everything myself I was working tons of hours and I Y. you know my wife is like Are you sure this is worth I mean like fucking no money and I was like you know I don’t have anything else to do what I was I’m going to go do you know anything about that putting too much time to things with no money. Right right but that’s what you do is like I want this and so that’s that. So like Bob Saget told me that Larry St Garry Shandling like the Larry Sanders Show one of the best shows ever. Really really good young rake. What would you do so we all agree do you know Larry Sanders or him. Right so you and I would agree that is a great show. I’m saying it’s one of the best shows ever and that I’m not the only one that says that there’s only one in this room that says that I’m not disagreeing and I thought it was amazing I mean it’s one it’s one of things that H.B.O. built the modern house on well you know it was a juggernaut custom content. So anyways but I get told me that Larry Sanders Garry Shandling would edit still edit Larry Sanders shows after they aired. No way because he didn’t he saw some things he didn’t like he wasn’t finished with and he just went back and re edited afterwards I just did some more and it’s because he was but that is the level of focus and commitment that it takes in order to be on a Larry Sanders level can you do that. And like have a family was right. Are these things hard but yet it’s all about balance and being smart about your time and not a shit where’s the point where it’s OK to just give part of the load to somebody else or at least to someone you trust right. Well even then it depends on what you’re building I mean like if you have a business I mean and having a car T.V. shows like like a business it is a business model and it’s a very fast growth. You know to live or die. So just like any other business you know it’s a business is like having a baby you’ve got to put a lot of time into it until after so many years until it can be on its own two feet and it can run itself and you don’t have to talk to me watching it all the time that was a great one analogies I’ve heard about having been so you know that’s my world right now is balancing that my wife is you know a saint and I’m very lucky to be with a woman a person a person like Laura because she and she’s been complain right away with the festival how much I’ve been working and you know after this park has Want to go back and work till midnight or twelve thirty go to bed at one get up and be back at the desk by eight thirty you know where I’m at right now. So you know we court we coordinate our nights when I’m going to be home so that we can be with family have really worked it out a lot more some spend more time on it because like I said the two boys are six and nine so it is a balancing game and balance is an illusion. It’s all about imbalance. Trying to reach balance like when ballerinas balance on their toes when they’re on their toes it looks like they’re just staying still but they’re not they’re making tons of small corrections So balance is an illusion. It’s in balance trying to reach balance is real and so sometimes you can focus a lot on your health. Sometimes you can’t make the gym for three weeks because you’ve got a fuckin project to do or a festival to do or something like that. So it’s going back and then you can say OK now I’m back in the gym and I can read books again but it seems like it’s always been conscious of like not letting it become a disaster like the right way to spinning plates you get the plates spinning and then you focus on the ones that need attention while the other ones are OK at this point but the actors he keeps adding more plates never yet during that he appeared to many played all of them or not. So that’s about it is that my balancing act but these guys that do it I mean I think about Tina Fey married with a daughter and how such a fan of Tina Fey’s work and just what I’ve read about her as a person. Great. I just you know I don’t know but I saw her at the because it was at the Kennedy Center it’s the Mark Twain Award and that was weird to me because like a Lifetime Achievement Award seem like the retirement things right you know and they were giving one to her and I just didn’t see you saw that right. Did you see how upset her husband was the whole time. Really and he was like distance from her and just kind of like wasn’t even fucking paying much attention but who sit next to her and she kept trying to like look at him and hey that’s in our actors interacting with this kind of blowing her off like I bet she’s got a point now like fuck another of your events we got to go to I don’t know Lord but still let me go to your bench for six years I got a book and I got I did direct a few episodes of the last season of thirty Rock. Oh he did yeah. Shit so he’s in the business too. It seems the world and that’s even worse. You’re just like a producer or director or something and he’s part he’s quite successful like like Max is leading on and I don’t think it’s a jealousy thing I think you probably nailed it two hours just like you know her career is so large that that is the family like everything but it just I mean just by sheer mass of how big that career is you’re all in orbit right all the time and then to where she can create like she does while doing everything else like you know I actually understand I had to cut you up but like I get why they’re getting a lifetime achievement award. She has done more than any other female toward lifting the stereotype that women aren’t funny. Well she’s done she’s made a major contribution to that and made a major contribution to showing that you can balance life and have a successful career and hopefully have a healthy family I don’t think there might be some issues there. But but you’re right I think it I think you’re right she does contribute to society greatly by being just think of her as like a female funny female Queen I just think of her as a funny person that happens to have tits which can be funny too. Right right right but it looks like a weird. Nothing like this become. It’s not her responsibility to prove people wrong you know. And suddenly the idea of her being successful is making a point. Like it’s not even fair to her. Well that’s another that’s a great question and that’s what that’s it’s so sad because you’re getting a human would you have done this for a guy. No Then why am I you know they’re still you’re still signaling out but you know there’s a great thing happening at Georgia Tech right now where there’s a group of female engineers it’s called robo gals. OK And it was soley to bring attention to the female engineer existence so I get that you know to me and I K That’s real at this point to girls and how you can be an engineer too. You know Tina Fey being a successful issues like Oh you mean I could go and be the head writer of Saturday Night Live in and create a T.V. show that super successful and and influence American politics that just said she what she’s achieved. Yeah I think it I think it definitely inspires women so that would make sense. As your wife also in comedy you know. OK Do you think it’s better or worse. Nothing against you like your marriage or anything just so I love a life it’s great we have a very healthy happy healthy relationship but I think it’s good because it keeps me grounded like there’s no doubt about that saying and Cameron the Jim Carrey movie. It was with Morgan Freeman and Jennifer Aniston. Priscilla Bruce Almighty when he says behind every successful successful man is a woman rolling her eyes. That’s true Laura is like and like can you just tell me I did something great. Ha ha ha ha I don’t think so. So I thought about it because then I think you know you see sometimes everyone’s fathers and oak and hot chick doing comedy like Damn she’s hot and she’s funny and I’m like I don’t know if that would work out you know. Thank you. Might be I mean I don’t know it depends on the comedy too. Like if it was all like you know Christian humor I’m doing good. Can you do that though I mean I don’t know that common you could have like Save comedy because even some of his clean like Jeff Foxworthy. I mean he still it’s almost like he’s almost like an insult comedy for southerners you know. Yeah so I will bless her heart. Yeah that’s still a condescending thing I can tell you talk shit to someone you say is going really nice Right right. That’s how does a Southern cut down. Yeah he is kind of pandering to them and letting them be self deprecation and he’s a super nice guy and he’s real and you know and he’s he’s had a great career I mean that guy has generated over a billion dollars. Yeah I was looking at a listing of the wealthiest comics and Seinfeld is actually at the top because of syndication. Jeff Foxworthy isn’t top twenty but you know who caught my eyes on there who if you can if you can comedians Matt Parker and Tristan Yeah they’re both worth individually over three hundred million. So they’re involved in everything right. Right more the basic ball really helped to make that money. I’m a major block up. Yeah I love that movie. Bates good bye I love every minute of it even though I thought I thought the guy in the poor and with you know where you sit with orgasm Oh that one is like their own orgasm Rose I want to go to one Sundance is good enough for that you know I enjoy the crowd a guy normally has not so they can cry to God orgasm I was so perfect just like this like the karate guy in a poll in dynamite. Oh alright we’ll call Rico right it seemed like the same character. And then Ron Jeremy starring fully clothed the whole time just just something he was like one of the villains or something of the evil porno guys later. So funny that the South Park movie. I mean if you have it when you look at the major cartoons. It is yet. Simpsons Family Guy South Park and that’s basically it. The South Park movie was in my mind I was expecting the least and they gave the most I mean talk about exceeding expectations. It’s still arguably the best of all those movies although the Simpsons movie was quite good really. So that’s another one I didn’t want to let me go back for the supper club. Love South Park. I saw the South Park one of the first can face uncle fucker. Yeah yeah what would Brian Boitano and though it was great it was a great move but says I didn’t see the Simpsons one and I didn’t see the Family Guy movie and I feel like that’s trying too hard at a certain point and we go right and it doesn’t make sense it was an actual movie. Yeah it was story line that accomplished something it was very good. Dismembered even have a real movie. They had they had one I was direct to D.V.D. that was unremarkable well and they had a second one. That honestly was the amount of time wars one that I think those were just proof that they could get back on T.V. right. Well no. I don’t remember I think it came out after the re really not a Family Guy but the one where they did Star Wars. They basically retold as a parody each of the stars one starring Family Guy character so like Stewie was Darth Vader. That’s actually OK that’s pretty bad but I also believe that Brian Greene is I’s name so I think Seth Green was heavily contributing to that to make it a shining star that was dark or you see him and he big success for comedians in Atlanta like getting noticed or find their way through. Yeah. Rob pays me a Jackson. Caleb C.N.N. shared Harris Dave Stone moved out and done well and Sanford seems to be doing pretty well in New York. But yeah but the me Caleb and Rob are going to be on Last Comic Standing this next season. Oh cool I’m going to say what Atlanta comedy needs next is. For somebody one or two or three people to pop to so that they can be like oh shit these guys are really funny oh Atlanta calmly another clinic and that’s what Boston had like Steven Wright parked and then it put the spotlight on Boston and then that’s when he got bobcat and David Gold and you know the whole elk kind of followed. What’s stopping the Latin School fast from being as interesting as The Last Comic Standing. We don’t have N.B.C. hype machine behind us and we’re not taping it and it’s just you know we haven’t got to that point yet but are there any elements like if you had a wish list is there anything that you’re missing right now that money could solve more money rather than pay for now is going well they you know were. We’ve already covered you know most of the expenses for the festival and it’s a week away and we have a lot of promotion coming out next week that’s going to so do well but you know next year. So right now there’s also that’s going on next week is also the Atlanta Film Festival and the Atlanta improv festival and then Fox Theater has a show Bryan Ragan called energies and as Ron White and and as every year it seems to be that there’s more and more comedy happening right around my festival. Another twenty eight days. Bacon first Yand and bacon fest happens all the time that’s her dad’s grudge. So but yes so what I’d like to do next years I would like to try to get with these guys and time these events kind of put it on your lap and score I mean Atlanta Film Festival is just it’s a first year they’re just getting started working the week before me just like what do you do and just piggybacking so I get that final but I’d rather say OK let’s do it and then also for Atlanta Film Festival I want to have like a section and it’s just so we put the comedy films as part of the after school film fest laparoscope contest where we have a film section in there so then we could have improv film and stand up all promoted and I think that’s the that’s the concept My goal for this festival. Ultimately is that Atlanta becomes like Edinburgh during those few weeks you know whatever it was like the Edinburgh Comedy Festival I do not. It’s every venue in the City of Edinburgh does comedy for the month because like you’re already promoting everybody else’s clubs like to put this on my right leg is constant cooperation and the entire like atmosphere you’re talking about like Yeah it really helps how everyone like enables each other and there’s like maybe a little bit of cooperation can just make everything like swords in union attacking. Well that the concept is a rising tide lifts all boats and so then if we can say hey man this comedy festival has this many shows happening we have this many stand up shows this many improv shows in this many comedy films during this time period in Atlanta then it looks huge and now that becomes a big bang and there are people coming up we have people coming here they’re planning their vacations that are that you know through e-mailing us no you know not a lot but we’ve got a few things where they’re planning to go to Atlanta for the festival and we should contact that airlift Gary Medel a tail tech demo night and have a like like lift people from one venue to another and basically just be a bus driver. I just can’t crapped all over his idea that the other guy is doing public storage or math he’s imagining it was an override. So we’ll see what happens will be good. It’s exciting stuff to look forward to. So it’s basically every day through from one state to Sunday that Wednesday through Sunday March twenty fifth through the twenty ninth. Wednesday night at Smith’s or bar and laugh in school lounge and Thursday through Saturdays you know all the different places and you can get a laugh in school comedy festival dot com And and if you listen to podcasts past those date Stan go to the website for next year. Yeah yeah I will definitely because it is ones that are just rush you know. Sure. So either Friday or Monday since we’re not talking for two hours. Which sometimes happens because people just get into it. This actually works out pretty well and Co Yeah this is perfect timing I allocated an hours and I got to go back and do more fucking work permits First thank you so much man. No problem thank you guys who think you know we appreciate a like he never seen a monitor that big as a nice projector that can get them assures Aleutian Well just so your listeners now one of we’re talking about as you guys have how big of a screen is that how wide is that it looks like it’s eight feet wide and then six feet tall or so. Yeah and it’s like a big movie projector screen that you have in a high school class right. Yeah yeah and then you have a projector shooting across it takes telling all this out at the end of it just because it’s not funny it’s just not. Studio’s amazing listeners know what to listen to I mean it’s right. We’re big deal guys. You know you get basically fuckin sixty square feet of viewing space and you have your soundboard equipment and we’ll allow you if you haven’t a wrap party for the film to put together well actually before you go I want to talk about that. What’s up with this film. So it’s called American dirtbags and it’s six different story it’s a murder comedy murder count it’s a murder comedy love it. Right and so it’s it’s like Pulp Fiction or crash where there’s independent stories that come together at the end. So it’s six independent stories about crime and depravity told by the perspective of six lovable degenerates as they were awarded for their bad choices when their lives intertwine. So it’s basically people that should die to die. There’s a lot of blood there’s a lot of cursing there’s a lot of violence but there’s also a lot of funny and so it’s a murder comedy and you know it’s a small budget film eighty six thousand dollars and you know anything in a five million Hollywood is small and just crazy to me. You know there’s a lot of people out there that argue that you know you don’t need to make more than you know any more than two hundred fifty thousand to make a film. Anything above that is kind of you know administrative depending on what you’re doing and it’s. Those seventy million dollar films can do whatever but so yes it’s good and we’ve had we have twelve cameos from people coming into the lounge like I mentioned before me also a couple people from Archer to cartoon show Archer and some of our animators So it’s shot in high definition for K eight millimeter and lots of animation and to have our animator to animators work for adults when you know we have some crowd quality across the board. Yeah our goal with it is to get into Sundance and we think there we feel very confident we’re doing South by Southwest they love this type of stuff are you guys finished wishing they were totally in the can. That’s a huge thing we have to wrap parties already done on that. An hour in post production. OK And looks like right now. Yeah yeah yeah. So next year maybe you know of course we would see that they are all to Madang it’s going to Sundance to get that that’s a big that’s a great comp Absolutely. Do you think Robert Redford submits his own films for Sundance if he is he allowed to compete in his own competition and when he would be if he doesn’t like Mr nuzzling the film festival. Yeah exactly. Yes amazing that Robert Redford did that he you know he owns these mountains out there that she’s beautiful a bit and I’m skated a ski resort and even a robber represents you know it’s he owns it here’s a resort like a small resort out there near South Park near Salt Lake City and so it’s public it was on the public side over there. They’re like that who has worked with some locals and they took me there’s like a local thing and they point out the so that’s where that some out that Robert lives on across the way so he could from his house I guess you could see the lie you know the resort. He’s been I’ve been a Robert Redford fan my whole life which is strange when you’re born in one thousand nine hundred four to be like you know the span of this ancient actor at this point but he did my favorite really sneakers and he also did Bush casting the Sundance Kid which is obviously where they get the name from and they did every other film has been I mean. It’s like you can you just like to spend. Let me just list everything all those homes like they all have like such and such quality behind him he’s just one of the actors who brings more to the role than a rope for it right because I mean the thing is like all freely admit sneakers is kind of unremarkable in a lot of ways but it’s just I do have a do you have plans for the next film or is it still just all this one where they were just on this one we do have some scripts or we haven’t in the works as well. So did you write this like like Babalu works we wrote it so you know we we have some other scripts as well. So we’ve started a whole nother production company called after SCO studios. Yeah and is this is I mean do you credit any of the film entertainment credit toward helping you guys get this after a mostly also you know the zero line is a big scene for film nowadays and I really could carry that back to when rappers go around opened. I’m a little shit that’s where we need to be making film. Yes a definite because we’ve got some great talent here and we shot in between. During the downtime we shot from October to February and so that’s like the Dead season for that so we got some great talent and great prices to help us with production I swear to god that’s perfect. Yeah our lighting guy has a sixteen foot truck filled with high end lights for major films yeah we got that. Like I bump into these guys around on just getting drunk being like it’s this town this year it’s going to another town two years and I’m not going to buy a house I’m not going to put down roots. We keep moving with the fucking mess and so long as so long as there is like a real public network or infrastructure for like creative work. Yeah like we could’ve made this film in a way because we were sure we would shoot on the streets without a license and cops would just pull up and just keep going and the like man if we were in L.A. You can either sell your permit permits and papers please close it up arresting people to do so. What’s your name in the credits. So I’m actually first executive producer and I’m also on the cast members but I do think that maybe I’d go with the title of executive dude man because I can make it my own kind to abide that where even the duty to God and that hand it’s listening to this he’ll get well we probably have to pasture. So let’s go man I’ve enjoyed this and I guess a good part cast and I’m glad to be on it. I mean it means a lot. We appreciate absolutely. And hopefully we can do it again I will say this I was you know comcastro is just one step away from going on my resume as like what are you a mike associate attorney and you know this law firm and then President Castro comma L L C. That’s a limited liability company and we have the biggest week of our lives ending with a new publicist hired because everything is coming up. Castro That’s right you know and we do have a publicist. Her first name is Demi not to me. That’s Demi and she is a lovely woman and she comes to us courtesy of a very dear friend of ours and we are confident that she’s got what it takes to launch com Castro. Anyway thanks for the some of this one place in the next week as we’ve got another comedian given the last of dad’s garage and these two interviews are basically the funniest things I’ve been a part of in my life if you like this one during a lot of it. Viva.
